This was a disgruntled comment from one of our site managers earlier this year, in regards to some repairs on a residential block in Chiswick, W4.
I admit, the job was far from what we are used to getting involved with. It was time consuming and not particularly profitable.
However, the enquiry was from a long term client and we went on to solve 8 points of ingress over a 4 month period as they arose, assisting in the sale of 2 properties.
The same client has just given us the order for the complete overhaul of 8 terrace roofs on the Kings Road, SW3.
Like any relationship, you have to work at it and be prepared to take some rough with the smooth.
