I was blessed to be coached by Francis Joseph from the age of 16 to 21 and this was just one of many little nuggets I still carry with me today in my working life.
My boots are well and truly hung up but what he taught me in maintaining standards, respect and work ethic is I’m sure the reason why I’m ironing at 9pm!
We lost him far too early around this time 2 years ago but the affect he had on me is ingrained forever.
